Terms of use

Intended use. CodeCoach is designed for interview practice, mock interviews, personal coaching, and permitted assistance during meetings on Windows 10/11 only. Use it only on devices, windows, calls, and data you are allowed to analyze. Follow workplace, school, interview, recording, and privacy rules.

Not for proctored exams or prohibited assistance. We do not allow — and we do not appreciate — use of CodeCoach during proctored exams, graded assessments, take-home tests with honor codes you would break, or interviews and meetings where external assistance is prohibited. Overlay and capture-privacy features exist so you can coach yourself without cluttering your own screen share in authorized settings — they are not permission to hide software from invigilators, employers, platforms, or policies that forbid it. Misuse may result in account termination without refund.

Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for confirming that AI coaching is allowed in your situation. CodeCoach does not guarantee that the HUD will be invisible to every meeting tool, recording product, or monitoring system. Free trial. New accounts may receive a short freemium trial (default about 8 minutes from the first AI action in the desktop app). Open signup is allowed. Fair-use rate limits apply so shared AI capacity stays available. We may throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the trial or automated access.

Meeting packs (INR via Razorpay). After trial, AI coaching is sold as meeting credits:

• Starting a meeting (begin screen tracking, or Live Call when no session is open) spends 1 credit immediately for up to 90 continuous minutes.
• Stopping early, disconnecting, or closing the app does not refund that credit.
• Pack validity is shown at purchase (typically 45 days for multi-meeting packs and 30 days for a single top-up). Expired credits cannot start a new meeting; remaining balance may show as zero after expiry.
• Credits are non-transferable and tied to your Supabase account.

Refunds. Digital meeting credits are generally non-refundable once the purchase is confirmed and credits are applied to your wallet. If a payment charged you but credits never appeared after you refreshed the dashboard and the desktop app, contact support with your Razorpay payment id — we will investigate technical failures. Chargebacks for clearly delivered credits may lead to suspension.

Internet required. AI coaching, entitlements/credits, and the cloud knowledge vault require a working connection to CodeCoach servers. There is no offline AI or offline RAG mode.
